Mam-Ma, as Betty, was known by all her family and close friends was especially fond of her beloved son-in-law Jim Litty. Betty’s husband J.C. was the pastor of many churches in Missouri. Together, they spent almost 40 years in the ministry. In the early years of their ministry, Betty arose early on Sunday mornings and rounded up many families to attend Sunday School and Church. She had worked several years as a sales clerk in the women’s department in a downtown St. Louis boutique. Betty will be remembered for her love of reading, especially of politics, the St. Louis Cardinals, her churchs and most of all her family.
