Bessie Damjanovich, age 96, longtime resident of Chicago, IL, died Monday, September 1, 2014, in Midwest Hospice/Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. She was born April 10, 1918, in Buhl, MN, the daughter of Dan and Helen (Miskovich) Damjanovich. She graduated from Nashwauk High School.
Bessie worked as a Lab Technician for Dr. Joseph in Chicago. She was a member of the National Geographic Society, and she enjoyed traveling.
Bessie is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: her brothers: Nicholas, George, Dushon “Dusty”, and Mike; and her sisters: Rose and Mildered “Dolly”.
