Bertha Bryant DiSchino passed away peacefully at home on February 20, 2023 at 10:00 PM. During her final hours over 40 loved ones surrounded and kissed her good-bye; the family to whom she dearly loved and devoted her life.
She was an all-encompassing wife, working mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, and sister, who cherished us all.
During her very active 79 years she happily and diligently accomplished parenting five children, working as a medical laboratory technologist, gardening, bridge playing, partying with friends, dancing, making all kinds of Christmas, wedding, etc. decorations, cooking; private for family and professionally for golf course tournaments; and the list goes on.
She will ALWAYS be loved and missed by her family: husband, Cosmo DiSchino; children, Annette Holtman and husband John, Erasmina “MiMi” Mackey and husband Kevin, F. Anthony DiSchino and wife Linda, Angela Zurweller, Carla Unnerstell and husband Jim; sister, Jean Pressly; 13 grandchildren and their spouses; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews – ALWAYS LOVED AND MISSED!!!
