Bernice A. Wilebski passed away November 9, 2022, at LifeCare Greenbush Manor in Greenbush, MN. She was 93.
Bernice was born on March 12, 1929, in Lake Bronson, MN, to Bernard and Anna Anderson. She grew up in Lake Bronson and graduated from Lake Bronson High School. On December 25, 1950 Bernice married Willie Wilebski.
Even though Bernice lived a long, full life she faced a few hardships, but her strong faith, family and friends helped her through those hardships. She was a homemaker and also worked in the potato fields, the turkey plant in Greenbush, did seasonal work for turkey farmers, worked at the Hartz store in Badger, Marvin Windows, and was a bookkeeper at the Farmers Union Oil Company in Badger. But, her favorite job was doing daycare for families, which she did for many years.
Bernice enjoyed doing embroidery, putting together word puzzles, having coffee with friends, and playing bingo. She loved to cook and bake – the kids were always well-fed!
Bernice was a member of Our Redeemers Lutheran Church in Badger. She did weekly cleaning at the church for many years.
Bernice is survived by her children: Debbie (Darrel) Stromlund of Strathcona, MN, Mike (Sue) Wilebski of Sterling, AK; Todd Wilebski of Roseau, Russell (Jeri) Boyer of Roseau, Randy Boyer of Crookston, MN, Brian Boyer and Bob Olson; siblings Carmen Drake, Wesley (Barb) Anderson; sisters-in-law Alice Anderson, Lu Wilebski, Bernie Wilebski; grandchildren Josh (Kara), Aaron (Katie), Chad (Jenny), Ryan (Kacey), Brady (Nicole), Logan, Levi, Zach and Paige; great grandchildren Molly, Isaac, Joel, David, Riley, Sawyer, Elsie, Briar, Maggie, Duke, and Thor
