Cox, Bernadine “Bernie” A. age 74, of Long Lake, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, William and Lucy Koch; and sister, Delrose (Earl) Miller. Survived by loving husband of 53 years, James Cox; children, Steven (Marilyn), David (Brenda), Mary Jo (Michael) Cook; and 9 grandchildren. Also survived by brother, William (Lorraine) Koch and sister, Lucille Lins. She was born April 13, 1939 in Loretto. Met her loving husband, James and married May 21, 1960. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandma. She owned her own monogram shop for many years. She was very active with her church and Lady’s Council. She loved to garden, sew and travel.
