Barbara Lee Barciszewski, 73, of Hermann, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 at her residence.
Barbara was born in Parma, Missouri on August 15, 1942, the daughter of the late Cletus Lee & Lillie Marie (Borders) Edwards.
She was the wife of Dominic E. Barciszewski. They were married September 19, 1964 at St. Louis, Missouri. Dominic survives at the home.
Barbara worked at Bussmann Manufacturing and for Lincoln Engineering both of St. Louis. Later she owned & operated a lawn care business and Silver Dollar Lounge in Swiss for four years.
She attended the Element Church in Wentzville and faithfully watched Joel Osteen on TV. Barbara and Dominic were the founders of the Brown Shanty Community Center. In her free time she enjoyed traveling and working in her flower garden.
Barbara is survived by a daughter, Medina Dwiggins & husband Michael of Wentzville, Missouri; a sister, Patricia Clendening & husband Bruce of Temple, Georgia; by two grandsons Timothy Dwiggins & wife Ashley and Brandon Glass and a granddaughter Brenna Dwiggins, by three great grandchildren Hannah, Kaidyn and Meila Dwiggins, by her best friend Kathy Meier of Morrison, Missouri and by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Gregory Michael Barciszewski, a sister Bonnie Yocum and two brothers Eldon & Euless (Bud) Edwards.
