Portland, ME- Barbara A. Moran, 56, passed away unexpectedly at her home
on October 10, 2013. She was born in Portland on March 30, 1957 and grew
up on Munjoy Hill. Barbara attended local schools and in 1975, she
graduated from Wayneflete School with honors. She also attended Syracuse
University in New York.
Barbara was a bright, creative person who had many interests, such as art, dancing,
reading, and jewelry making, but her real true passion was for music. For
more than twenty years Barbara took pleasure in her job as a band promoter
for Geno’s in Portland. She relished in the many long lasting friendships
that she developed there.
Barbara was pre-deceased by her parents, Davielee and Marie A. (Richio)
Moran.
She will be sadly missed and never forgotten by her sister:~ Beth Walsh
and her husband, William; brothers, Scott and his wife, Patricia, Mark and
his wife, Sheila, David and his wife, Elizabeth and John and his wife,
Debra.
She will also be remembered by her nieces and nephews that she was so very
proud of, Mark, and his wife Dodi, Theresa, and her husband Michael,
Maria, and her husband Rocco, John, Gabrielle, Christina, Will, and Cole,
as well as her great nieces and nephews, Rio, Sevino,Landon, Magnus, Enzo
and Shelby. She will also be missed by her extended family and many friends.
