Avanel Fern Cundiff, 88, of Big Spring, MO, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Frene Valley Health Center, Hermann.
Avanel was born in Florida, Missouri on September 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Orval & Daphna (Fields) Crabtree.
She was the wife of the late William “Bill” Edward Cundiff. They were married on August 23, 1953 at Centenniel Baptist Church, Mexico, Missouri. William preceded her in death on April 27, 2012.
Avanel was a member of the Big Spring Methodist Church, the Big Spring Methodist Women’s Organization and the Big Spring Area Fire Dept. Auxiliary.
She is survived by several cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by a daughter Grace “Ann” Cundiff Hanson and a son-in-law Mark Hanson.
