August “Gus” Pehle, 75, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Pehle was born in Berger, Missouri on October 13, 1936, the son of the late Edward and Lydia (Breckenkamp) Pehle.
He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, New Haven, Missouri and the New Haven American Legion. August proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a truck driver and drove for Pepsi, Bockting Trucking, Weber Construction and Heisel.
He is survived by a son Marvin Pehle of New Haven and a daughter Candace Compton & husband Deron of Washington, a step son Steve Angell & wife Linda of New Haven, three sisters Dorothy Guese & husband Robert of Auxvasse, Evelyn Baer of New Haven and Marlene Bockting of New Haven, two grandchildren Shane Pehle of New Haven and Kayla Compton of Washington, three step grandchildren Ashley Compton of Washington, Amanda Seitter of Washington and Leisha Angell of New Haven.
