Audrey Alma White (57)
North Yarmouth-Audrey White passed away at home on Saturday, May 18, 2013 after a debilitating illness.
Born in Lynn, MA, Audrey’s childhood years were divided between MA and NH while much of her adult life was spent in central ME and Exeter, NH. In 2006, she moved to North Yarmouth, ME, with her husband, Gary White, and his children, Ansley and Ryder.
The bulk of Audrey’s career was in the large print publishing industry where she held a variety of roles but mostly she loved her work as an editor for both Thorndike Large Print and Thomas T. Beeler Publishing.
Audrey was a warm and gentle spirit; thoughtful, caring, and always considerate of others. Friends of many years will remember Audrey as a writer of exceptionally well worded cards and letters. Her conversation was of equally high quality as she cared deeply about conveying feelings and meaning accurately but with subtlety and nuance. Music was also of passionate interest.
She is survived by her husband, Gary White, her sisters, Sandra Graves and Gayle Tucker, Sandra’s husband, Chuck, her dear children, Sara and Jonah Lesko, and numerous nieces and nephews.
