He was born in Portland on July 6, 1920 the son of the late Nicholas and Delphina (Cornish) Bowles.
Audbrey was a graduate of Portland High School. After graduation, he enlisted into the U.S. Merchant Marines and was honorably discharged in August of 1945.
He was predeceased by his lovely wife Alma.
