Age 86, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. He was born on January 28, 1927 in Westphalia, MI the son of John A. and Theresa (Knoop) Pohl. Mr. Pohl was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Godez Assemby, and the St. Joseph Society. Arnold was a farmer all of his life, enjoyed traveling, going to the cottage, playing cards, and was an MSU and Detroit Tigers fan. Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Joseph (Judy) Pohl. Surviving are his wife, Jeanette Pohl; nieces and nephews, Ken (Kay) Pohl, Therese Muir, Jim (Amy) Pohl, Mary Jo (Ken) Theis, Dianne Pohl, and Karen (Blaine) Burby; children, Ken (Donna) Weber, Dan (Linda) Weber, Diane (Don) Smith, Patty (Al) Piggott, Duane (Ginny) Weber, and Mary (Larry) Hanses; 21 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws.
