Arlis Nadine Quinn, age 90, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014. She was born August 28, 1923, in Three Rivers, Michigan, the daughter of George and Anna (Fulhart) Fairman. She grew up in Buchanan, Michigan, graduated from Buchanan High School and attended Western Michigan University. Arlis met her future husband, Jack “Doc” Quinn, a local veterinarian who was fresh out of MSU’s School of Veterinary Medicine, when he made a house call at her parents’ home to treat the family dog. She and Jack were married in 1944 and had 6 children. He preceded her in death in 2002. Arlis was a loving and attentive mother and wonderful homemaker, and will be remembered by family and friends for her kind nature, quick smile and sense of humor. She was a member of St.
