Age 88, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at St. Ann’s Home in Grand Rapids. She was born on May 6, 1917 in Belding, MI the daughter of Arthur and Emma (Ligney) Byrne. Arlene married Joseph “Joe” Loughlin on November 30, 1946. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, and a faithful member of the Altar Society of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe; sisters, Florence and Leah; brother, Alvin. Surviving are her brother, Jim Byrne and wife Kate and many nieces and nephews.
