Age 86, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2008. He was born June 30, 1922 in Portland the son of Anthony and Helena (Martin) Fox. Tony was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WW II. He is retired from Portland Products after many years of service. He enjoyed playing cards, bingo, hunting and fishing. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters and his son, Dennis. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lella (Hoppes) Fox; children Kate Remington of Portland, Caroline (Robert) Jurstik of Portland, Gary (Michelle) Fox of Eagle, Ronnie and Tony Fox both of Portland; daughter-in-law, Brenda Fox of Portland; 6 grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters; brother Bud (Diane) Fox of Hubbardston; sisters Helen Osborn of DeWitt and Janette Atwell of Charlotte; several nieces and nephews.
