Anne Therese Kemp (nee Moudry)
Formerly of Eden Prairie and Wayzata, died peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, surrounded by family at the age of 90.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Frank W. and Margaret Moudry; siblings, Agnes (Ray) Kurzeka, Margaret (Dr. James) Mankey, Francis (Bud) J. (Margaret) Moudry, Msgr. Richard Moudry, George A. Moudry; sister-in-law, Carole Kastigar; son-in-law, Douglas Woods, and former husband Eugene Kemp.
She is survived by her brother, James Moudry; sister-in-law, Sharon Moudry, Carmen Gugin and dear friend, Ray Belting.
She will be greatly missed by her loving children, Mary (Mike) King, Greg (Shari), George (Vicki), Chris (Patti), Peggy (Doug) Kratz and Lisa Woods, as well as 13 grandchildren, Katie, Patty, Stephen, Danny, Ryan, Sarah, Angela, Monica, Vanessa, Meghan, Hallie, Meggy, Alexa and 8 great-grandchildren, Louie, Delaney, Rory, Jacob, James, Maeve, Parker, and Charlotte.
Anne graduated from Derham Hall High School and earned her degree in Education from the College of St. Catherine. She taught at St. Bartholomew’s grade school in Wayzata and Benilde-St. Margaret’s in St. Louis Park. She was passionate about teaching English/Literature to her junior high students, family and friends. She treasured her friendships with her teaching colleagues.
The family is very grateful to The Wealshire of Bloomington staff for the loving care they provided to Anne.
