Anna was born on April 12,1932 to Joseph B. and Anna T. Eynch (Brockmeyer) in St. Louis, MO. She was the only child but had many cousins who were like her siblings. At age 6, her family moved to a farm, south of Foristell where she lived until 2012. She resided at her new home at Twin Oaks Senior Living until her death. 

Anna met her husband, Charles H. Hallemeier, through some friends and love began. They were married on October 4, 1952 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Until Charles died in 2001. They were blessed with two children, Charles Joseph (Bud) and Jo-Ann Marie. 

Anna attended St. Patrick’s grade school in Wentzville, MO and graduated from Assumption High School in O’Fallon, MO. She worked as a dental assistant for several years prior to being a clerk and then as postmaster for sixteen years at the Foristell, MO post office, She loved seeing and helping people every day. She enjoyed gardening, her animals, bowling, softball, and loved her St. Louis Cardinals. Most of all she loved her family, she prayed for them and everyone daily.

Surviving: her daughter, Jo-Ann Marie (David L.) Creech; daughter-in-law, Denise R. (Harris) Hallemeier; Grandchildren, Melynda S. Brannan, Benjamin D. Creech, Juliana M. (J. Tyler) Finley, Joseph V. Hallemeier. Great-grandchildren; Paige Finley, Andrew Finley, Olin Brannan, Madison Brannan.

She was preceded in death by her parent, husband and son. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
