Alvin Louis Olson, 82 of Roseau, passed away at his home on October 4, 2005. He was born on September 11, 1923 at his home in Falun Township, of Roseau County. He was the son of Louis and Esther (Mattson) Olson. Alvin lived his entire life at his home in Falun and attended school just down the road at Falun District #36 E. Alvin was a farmer for a number of years and also combined with the Lloyd Olson combining crew in the early 1960’s. He retired from farming in the 1980’s.
Alvin met his wife, Grace (Mellstrom) in 1941 and they were married at the Salol Lutheran Church on January 20, 1946. Alvin was confirmed and became a member of the Salol Lutheran Church in the early 1970’s.
