Mr. Alvin H. Walkenhorst, 87, of New Haven passed away Friday, December 17th, 2010 at St. John’s Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri.
Mr. Walkenhorst was born in New Haven, Missouri on February 11, 1923, the son of the late Henry F. and Anna (Deppermann) Walkenhorst.
He worked as a Press Operator at Zero Manufacturing Washington, Missouri., for about 20 years, he was also a farmer his whole life. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church New Haven, Missouri. Bethlehem Lutheran Men’s Club, Past President of AAL, and was very active at in many of the church functions.
He was the husband of Adele M. (nee Benton) Walkenhorst. They were married June 16, 1951 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, New Haven, MO, to this union one daughter Karen was born.
