Alson R. Eikermann, 87, of Chamois, passed away Wednesday, September 2nd, 2015 at Linn Community Care
Mr. Eikermann was born in Stolpe, Missouri on August 7, 1928, the son of the late Gustave and Pauline
(Janish) Eikermann.
He was the husband of Charlene May (Leimkuehler) Eikermann . They were married on January 8, 1955 at Morrison, Mo.
Alson is survived by four children. Three daughters Linda Batchelor of St. louis, Carol LLoyd and husband Ken of St. Charles, and Karen Kinner and significate other Val of Linn, one son Terry Eikermann and wife Ruby of Robards Kentucky . Three brothers Gus Eikermann and wife Dorothy of Hermann, Truman Eikermann and wife Pearline of Berger, and Virgil Eikermann and wife Margaret of St. Charles, one sister Ada Heinlein of Hermann, and one sister in-law Alice Traschel and husband Fred of O’fallon, eight grandchildren , and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and one brother Ervin Eikermann and sister Mardell Eikermann.
Alson was a member of St. John’s Church Stolpe and the American Legion Hall of Bay. He was a diesel mechanic for Western Diesel and proudly serviced his country in the Army.
