Age 79, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 20, 2016. He was born on July 24, 1936 in Grand Ledge the son of Otto and Nellie (Larkin) Yeomans. Duane attended the First Congregational Church in Portland, enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling and working in his yard. Duane, along with his first wife, Kay owned and operated Iler’s Orchard and after the sale of the orchard was the Field Manager at Bell Harvest Sales. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Francis; parents; sisters Lois Yeomans, Edlia Jepsen, June DuBois and Phyllis Swathwood; brothers Charles Yeomans, Elwyn Yeomans and Naldo “Pat” Yeomans. Surviving are his wife, Denise “Dee” Yeomans; daughters Stacy (Larry) Iler and Kristin (Sam) Beaverson; grandchildren Anna Kay, Elisabeth, Andrew and Isaac; step-children Lindsay (Brian) Schouw, Jeffrey (Lena) Swehla and Mike (Kaity) Swehla; step-grandchildren Hannah, Ethan, Ries and Wyatt; also surviving are his beloved pets Muffy and Missy.
