West Bath- Allan D. Warner Sr., 68, of State Road died from cancer on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.
He was born in Bath on January 9, 1942, a son of Clarence A. and Leola M. (DuPont) Warner.
In 1960 he was employed at Bath Iron Works in the paint shop, retiring in 2001 due to ill health.
He loved boating, hunting, fishing, blue grass music and going to his camp on Trues Pond in Liberty. He also enjoyed watching stock car racing, fourwheeling and going to the fairs.
He is survived by his father, Clarence A. Warner of Brunswick, one daughter, Holly Ann Warner of Bath, two sons, Ronald D. Warner of Bath and Allan D. Warner, Jr. of Vermont, four grandchildren, one great grandson, his dear friend, Betty Gilliam and his ex wife, Paula Warner.
He was predeceased by his mother, Leola M. Warner in 1995 and his dear friend of 14 years, Peggy Nichols.
