Alice Floy (Southern) Thompson, 84, of Pascagoula, MS, passed away in Biloxi, MS on August 7, 2021.
Alice was born on November 3, 1936 to Albert and Maybelle Southern in Pascagoula, MS. She graduated from Our Lady of Victories Catholic High School. She later went to beautician school and worked at Nonie’s Hair Salon in Pascagoula, MS for many years. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren and was an animal lover. In her younger years she enjoyed working in her flower beds, fishing and going to the beach.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband; Douglas Thompson, her parents; Albert and Maybelle Southern, her brothers; Albert Robert Southern (Bobby) II, Milton (Puddin) Southern, and son-in-law; Ken Bartley.
She is survived by her sisters; Pat Stork, and Judy Hester; her children and daughters-in-law; Angela Bartley (Daughter), Chris (Son)and Heather Black, and Tommy (Son) and Bridgette Thompson; grandchildren; Devin Black, Renee Bartley, Tori Black, Shelby Thompson, Jenna Black, TJ Thompson, Tia Thompson, Marshall Thompson and Tegan Thompson; and 2 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her but are content in knowing she is rejoicing and celebrating being at home in heaven.
