ELLSWORTH – Alice M. Kinne, of 89 Bucksport Rd, died peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Hillhouse Assisted Living in Bath.
She was born in Waterville on June 1, 1928, the daughter of Elden and Ruth (Follansbee) Kinne. Alice grew up in Fairfield and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1945. After graduating from Fisher College in Boston, she worked at Thayer Hospital from 1950 to 1956.
In 1956, she moved to Ellsworth and worked at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital retiring in 1993 as their chief records librarian. After retirement, she returned to the hospital to work part-time in the xray department.
