Alice Josephine Rohlfing, 87, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri.
Mrs. Rohlfing was born in Detmold, Missouri on January 31, 1926, the daughter of the late Edward and Josephine (Lagemann) Brandt.
She was the widow of Ralph W. Rohlfing. They were married on November 23, 1950 at Ebenezer Stone Church, Gerald, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 12, 1990.
Alice is survived by two children, daughter Diane Lause & husband John of Hermann and a son David Rohlfing & wife Debra of Hermann, by three grandchildren Kevin Rohlfing, Kimberly Schaeffer & husband Ben and Karen Rohlfing all of Hermann and by nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by three brothers Ralph, Victor and Harold Brandt and a sister Elda Bredemeyer.
Alice worked for many years at the International Shoe Factory and for Frene Valley G & R Center. She and her husband also farmed. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann. She loved to embroider and gardening.
