Alice Jean Smith passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 25th after a long courageous battle with cancer. Known as Jean to her family and friends, she was born on March 22, 1933 in Hubbardston, MI. Her parents were Alice (Wiggins) and Thomas Ward. She was the seventh of eight children in her family. She attended St. John the Baptist Catholic School in Hubbardston and graduated in 1951.
