Jackie was ushered into the presence of her Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the age of 89.
She was a lifelong resident of Meridian. She retired from Anderson’s Hospital where she worked for many years. She loved her Lord, her church, and her family. She was an active member of College Park United Methodist Church. To know Jackie was to love her. She was a joy to be around and was always the life of the party with her beautiful smile and contagious laughter. She was a blessing to all of us and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by nieces Bobbie Martin, Briggette Singley, Sheila Gray; nephew Bill Gray; and Charlotte Barrett, who was truly a sister to her.
She is preceded in death by her husband Calvin Woodard; parents, Joel and Jenny Gray; brothers, R.D., Ed, Henry, and Herman Gray; sister, Bobbie Malene Townsend; niece, Libby Gray; and nephews, Shorty Townsend, Bobby Gray, and Ronnie Gray.
