Alfred V. Klott, 90, of Hermann, MO, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge, Missouri.
Alfred was born in Hermann, Missouri on October 2, 1927, a son of the late Henry & Martha (Jordan) Klott.
He was the husband of Charmaine (Baumstark) Klott. They were united in marriage on September 26, 1953, at St. George Church, Hermann.
Alfred proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a farmer his whole life. He was a hard worker and enjoyed working on the farm even after he retired. After retirement he went to work helping Kallmeyer Brothers farm, he worked for them for over 20 years. He also helped Kallmeyer-Schroff Auctioneers for many years.
Alfred was a member of St. George Church, Hermann.
Alfred is survived by his wife Charmaine, of the home, by two sisters, Esther Davis & husband Pat, of Vancouver, British Columbia; and Dorothy Bokan, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Lloyd, of Holden, Missouri; by three brothers-in-law, Jerry Means, of Chamois, Missouri; Paul Struttmann, of St. Louis; and Joe Baumstark & wife Judy, of Hermann, and by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, by two sisters, Lucille Faes, and Bernice Godefroid and five brothers Clarence, Roman, Elmer, Julius and Francis Klott.
