Sebasco- Alfred L. Smith, 75, died peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, July 19, 2010 at The Bodwell House in Brunswick where he had been a resident since June.
Alfred was born in Sebasco on September 3, 1934, a son of Bert H. and Lettie Mae (Dunning) Smith.
He was a lobsterman and a clam digger until his retirement. He was known for many years as “Hound Dog” on CB radio and later in VHF radio.
He loved to fish especially for stripers. Alfred also liked to do wood carving and has made many “flying” geese and seagull windmills.
