Alfred Norman Peterson II, “Frito”, finally found peace Sunday, May 4, 2014 at St. Raphael’s Health and Rehabilitation Center in Eveleth. He was born December 8, 1950 in Virginia, the son of Alfred and Blanche (Shoquist) Peterson and was a lifelong resident of Virginia. He was a graduate of Virginia Hugh School and retired from US Steel – Minntac. Frito enjoyed summers on Lake Vermilion and the time he traveled.
Frito is survived by his brothers: John (Bernadette) Peterson of Maple Grove and Roger (Mary) Peterson of Virginia; nephews: Bjorn and Justin and niece: Brithe; extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
