Obituary
Albert “Al” Henry Eder passed away on June 18, 2017 at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband of Rosemary Eder nee Eggering of Dardenne Prairie, MO. He is survived by his four daughters, Mary Tisi of Troy, MO, Therese (Donald) Wist of St. Peters, MO, Janine Wegeng of Dardenne Prairie, MO, Kathleen (Jeffrey) Lewis of Bentonville, AR; two sons, Michael Eder of Wright City, MO, Thomas (Cindy) Eder of Tomah, WI; two brothers, Harold (Dolores) Eder of St. Paul, MN, Francis (Sharon) Eder of Watkins, MN; two sisters, Frances Voerding of St. Paul, MN, Catherine (Erwin) Nistler of Maple Plains, MN; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild on the way. He is preceded in death by his father, Francis Eder, mother, Johanna Eder, daughter, Elizabeth Eder, grandson, Travis Wist, brother, Benjamin Eder, sister, Monica Nelson, sister, Alvina Beckers and sister, Angela Eder. Albert was united in marriage to his lovely wife, Rosemary, February 24, 1949 at All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters, MO. He enlisted in the Navy during WWII, in which he served in Hawaii, Patuxent Maryland and as part of the Berlin Airlift. He was awarded the Asiatic Pacific, American Theatre and The Victory Medal . Albert was an active member of Wentzville American Legion Post 323, a member of union local 837 IAM and a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Dardenne for over 50 years. He enjoyed farming on his property in Dardenne Prairie as well as hunting and fishing. Albert enjoyed being a volunteer at Wings of Hope. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
