Agnes Rominski, 91, of Fertile, MN, formerly of Argyle, MN, passed away on Thursday afternoon, June 16, 2016 in Fair Meadow Nursing Home in Fertile, MN.

Agnes Theresa Rapacz was born on August 14, 1924 in Argyle, the daughter of John and Mary (Yutrzenka) Rapacz. She was raised in rural Argyle where she attended country school. On June 7, 1948, she was united marriage to Louis Rominski at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in rural Argyle. They made their home in rural Argyle where they farmed. She worked at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren and also helped out on the farm. They moved to Argyle in 1983. Louis died on July 7, 1993. Agnes moved to Warren in 2001 before moving to the nursing home in Fertile.

She enjoyed cooking, traveling, doing embroidery work, gardening and playing bingo.

Left to mourn her passing are eight children, Marie (Duane) Fillipi of Vergas, MN, Daniel (Cathy) Rominski of Stephen, MN, Janet (fiancé Lee Williamson) Peterson of Minneapolis, MN, Jerome (Debbie) Rominski of Argyle, MN, Marlene (Rick) Barber of Warroad, MN, Jean (Larry) Kollin of Fertile, MN, Betty (Steve) Farmer of St. Petersburg, FL and John (Susan Ford) Rominski of Elko, MN; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; sister, Marie Kwolek of Peoria, IL and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis; son, Vernon; grandson, Jeff Peterson; sister, Irene Chyba and brother, Ray Rapacz. Mom came to truly love the Lord and put her faith in Him.

She knew that Jesus died for her sins and that He rose from the dead to give her new life, and we know that she is now resting peacefully in His loving arms.
