Rudy was the youngest son of Bedour and Bahjet Forage, born in Basrah Iraq. Rudy exemplified the American dream, coming to the United States as a college student at St. Louis University under the tutelage of the Jesuit priest, he earned a Bachelor Science degree in Chemistry. Barbara (Burpee) and Rudy were married in Augusta, Georgia December 31, 1951 and just celebrated their 67 wedding anniversary. Through hard work and dedication he rose to the rank of Vice President of MetLife. He was appointed to the Manager’s Hall of Fame for excellence in his profession, and embodiment of ethics and integrity in business. He was a long-standing member of the Rotary Club, and received awards and citations for his leadership and contributions. He lived a life as a shining example of strength physically, spiritually and morally and provided the perfect role-model.

Rudy met everyone with a hearty “Hello there!” and a warm smile and a gleam in his eyes. He never complained, and responded “FANTASTIC” to anyone inquiring how he was doing. He never had an unkind word to say about anyone, and was loved by all. His greatest love was his family.

We will miss your strength, character, kindness, limitless patience, but most of all your deep and endless love.
