Age 89, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2007. She was born on March 21, 1917 the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Schafer) Gensterblum. Adeline was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland and sang with the Church’s Resurrection Choir. She was and avid bingo and card player, and enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers. On May 30, 1938 she married Roman E. Smith, who later preceded her in death in 1975. Adeline is also preceded by her brother Francis Gensterblum and brother-in-law Reynold Miller. She is survived by her siblings Rita Miller of Pewamo, Helen Rogers of Portland, and Tillie (Bob) Hufnagel of Portland, and several nieces and nephews.
