Age 92, loving wife, mother and nana went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2010. She was born on June 8, 1917 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Morrell and Edna (Crill) Patterson. Mrs. Hawkins was a long time member of First United Methodist Church in Ionia. She loved golf and was a member of the Ionia Country Club and enjoyed playing bridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard on January 30, 1988. Surviving are her daughters Renee (David) Rosekrans of Rockford and Deborah (Bill) Bensinger of Norwalk, OH; grandchildren Matthew Rosekrans of Rockford, Denee (Tom) Michel of Stevensville, Bille Jo (John) Kilbride of Berlin Heights, OH and Brent Bensinger of Pensacola, FL.; 9 great grandchildren.; niece Kathy Brock of of Illinois; 2 great nieces Kelly and Terry and their families.
