Aaron Allen Robinson, 19, of Warroad, MN, died, Friday, December 14, 2007 in Warroad, due to injuries from a snowmobile accident. He was born July 26, 1988 in Roseau, MN and grew up in Warroad. Aaron was a 2007 graduate of Warroad High School and was currently attending the Central Lakes Technical School in Staples, MN. He was working towards a career in operating heavy equipment. Aaron had found his passion.

Aaron was willing to do anything that involved family and friends, he was eager to be part of the action. He especially loved hunting at the deer camp with “the hunting crew”. Although he was quiet at camp, when his family was waiting for his arrival you could hear him coming a mile away, he loved his bass. Aaron and his buddies had a special bond that was fueled by ice fishing. They could be fishing by 6:00 AM, but when it came to school Aaron would rather sleep in. Aaron had a true love for the outdoors. If he wasn’t hunting or fishing, he was snowmobiling and always with family or friends. Aaron was not full of words, but he always had a smile and you could tell he was loving life.

Aaron also loved to spend time with his Grandpa Roy and Ann playing cards. If you had a hard time finding him on a Friday night, there was a good chance he was playing cards at Grandpa’s at house. He can also credit Grandpa Roy for taking him bowling for the first time. Aaron was a natural bowler and quickly had his family at the lanes with him.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Warroad and a member of the Central Lakes College bowling league.

Aaron was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Sorrels; uncle, Randy Sorrels; uncle and aunt, Jeff and Chris Sorrels and uncle, Michael Sorrels.

Survivors include his parents, Richard “Dick” and Connie Robinson of Warroad; his brothers, Corey of Anchorage, AK and Trevor of Warroad; his grandparents, Roy Sorrels (Ann Osborne) of Warroad; Earl and Marjorie Robinson of Roseau; aunts and uncles, Dean (Sally) Robinson; Mark (Beth) Robinson; Avis (Laurence) Wright; Ray (Sherri) Robinson; K’Lynn (Gregg) Thompson; Scott (Becky) Robinson; Cheryl (Larry) Eslick; Bruce (Peggy Alberts) Sorrels; his second parents, Tim and Jen Cole; godparents, Dean and Sally Robinson; many cousins, friends and extended family.
