Obie Qualls, 86, of Piru, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013 with his loving family by his side.
He was born June 4, 1927, in Joplin, Missouri grew up in Oklahoma and settled in Piru, CA.
Prior to his retirement, Obie worked in the retired Petroleum industry for 25 years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and nature to the fullest. He had a life filled with friends, family and wonderful memories.
Obie is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ramirez Qualls, sons, David Qualls and Obie Qualls Jr and his daughter, Deva Tidwell. He is survived by children, Olga Stranahan (husband, Jim), Linda Qualls; Rose Ann Cordero (her husband, Fernando); Melvin Qualls (wife, Lorraine); 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
The Qualls family would like to thank all for their love, prayers and support with the loss of their father and grandfather.
