Lorene “Susie” Colglazier, 86, of Elkhart, passed away Friday afternoon, June 7, 2013, at Atria Eastlake Terrace in Elkhart.
She was born May 3, 1927, in Elkhart to William C. and Laura (Troyer) Eash. On Jan. 6, 1951, she married the late Stanley E. Colglazier in Elkhart. He passed away Jan. 27, 2004.
Surviving are two sons, Mark (Suzi) Colglazier and David (Jef) Colglazier, both of Goshen; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Theron and Wilbur Eash, and one sister, Emma Troyer.
Susie was employed for more than 20 years as a registered nurse at Elkhart General and Goshen hospitals as well as a local physician’s office. She later worked at the corporate office of CTS for nearly 15 years.
She attended First Brethren Church in Elkhart.
Susie enjoyed making crafts, knitting, boating, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren whenever possible.
