Mr. O. C. Sims, Jr., 82, a resident of Cusseta, AL passed away Thursday, January 12, 2017 at his residence.
Survivors include his daughter, Jane (Paul) Coakley of Pendleton, SC; son, David Sims of Anniston, AL; grandson, Russell (Mary Beth) Coakley of Easley, SC; and caregivers, Yvonne & John Ingram and Linda Hancock. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Chewning Sims and was the son of the late Olin Sims, Sr. and Lillian Brooks Sims.
Mr. Sims was born in LaFayette, AL; and had retired from West Point Pepperell’s Transportation Dept. where he was a truck driver. He was a member of Fairfax United Methodist Church.
