Sister Novella was baptized into Jehovah’s Witness in 1988 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in, Decatur, Alabama.

“Mrs. Novella” as she was affectionately known, was what many called a phenomenal woman. After the passing of her mother, she picked up the torch and became the matriarch and the foundation of the family.  She was soft spoken, but well respected.

She was a very dedicated and diligent employee of Parisian’s Department Store until she retired in 2004. Her impeccable skills forced her to become a well-known and accomplished “Master Seamstress” for many years

Even though she encountered health issues, Sister Novella’s faith and service to Jehovah never wavered. She continued to set a fine example of faith until her death and remained courageous while speaking with others about the Bible’s promise of a time when suffering and tears of sorrow will be gone from the earth forever. She is now safe in Jehovah’s memory and awaiting His promised resurrection.
