Norris A. Lukey, 82, a longtime Westborough resident, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at his home in Quinebaug, Connecticut.

Born on December 24,1932 in Nemaha, Nebraska to Earl and Maria Lukey, Norris was a finish carpenter whose work accents homes all over Westboro and surrounding towns. He loved the outdoors; whether hunting, fishing or just taking an evening drive with his wife. Later in life he discovered a passion for building mountain dulcimers with his friend Joseph Julian.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years June (Wile) Lukey and was a devoted father of three; two daughters Jan (Joel) Anderson and Betsy (Daniel) O’Hayer and his son, Jon Lukey who married Deborah Temple in June of 1986.

Norris was a hardworking man that put his family first in every aspect of life. His spirit and legacy will live on in the skills he passed down and the example of kindness, toughness and good humor he set for everyone that looked up to him.
