   Norman R. “Hap” Murray, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2020,  at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth.   He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Kline) Murray.

   Born in Newark, NJ, Hap was the son of the late Kenneth and Anna (Allerton) Murray.  He worked for many years for Essex County as a member of Cedarbrook Hospital’s custodial staff.

   Hap was an all-time sports fanatic counting basketball and bowling as two of his most loved pastimes, miraculously playing both after suffering polio as a child.  In fact, after bowling many 700 series, he finally bowled his 300 game on September 13, 2002.

   Survivors:  nephew Scott Dagnall and his wife Ginny of Bethlehem, Niece Bonnie Dagnall of Bethlehem as well as many other nieces and nephews.  Hap was predeceased by his siblings Kenneth Murray, II, Barbara Dagnall, and Stuart Murray.
