Norman O. Hittson, 80, of Muncie, passed away with his family by his side on Monday, January 20, 2014 at The Woodlands following an extended illness.
He was born in Muncie on December 21, 1933 to the late Mary Frances Walburn and Nelia Odell Hittson. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was the owner of Delaware Manufacturing in Muncie for over 30 years. Norman married the love of his life, Helen Marie (Gardner) Hittson on December 21, 1952.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Helen Hittson; son, Mark Allen Hittson, Muncie; grandson, Joshua Hittson, 4 great-grandchildren; nephew, Don Perkinson; sister-in-law, Gail Perkinson and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles A. Hittson.
