Norman Larry Brogan, 81, of West Lafayette, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at his home with his wife by his side.

He was born March 19, 1940 in Adrian, MI to the late Fred and Margery “Peg” (Moore) Brogan and was a 1958 graduate of Hudson High School in Hudson, MI.  Norman served in the U.S. Army from August 1963 until August 1965 and worked as a factory worker following his enlistment.  On September 17, 1966, Norman married Patricia Quackenbush in Pittsford, MI.

Norman enjoyed gardening and playing cards and cherished time spent with his family and friends.

Along with his wife, Patricia, he is survived by 2 sons, Steve Brogan of Pittsford, MI and Scott (Abby) Brogan of West Lafayette; 2 sisters, Diane (Roger) Sholl of Hudson, MI and Dawn (David) Armstrong of Carthage, NC; a brother, Patrick (Marcella) Brogan of Cascade, VA; and 7 grandchildren, Jacob, Brittany, Kaylee, Muriel, Rachel, Alexis, and Ashlyn; his dog, Reily; and 3 grand-dogs, Zeus, Macey, and Fletcher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Margery “Peg” Brogan and a son, Robert Brogan.

The Brogan family would like to mention and thank their special friends and family, Aaron, Tiffany, Joe, Kelly, and Dean, as well as the Elara Hospice family and everyone who has been there for them.
