Norman Knolhoff, 93, of Hoffman, passed away November 29, 2019 at his family farm.

He was born April 18, 1926 on the family farm, the son of Edward Knolhoff and Martha (Reinkensmeyer) Knolhoff.

He married Lucille Holle on September 5, 1948 and she survives in Hoffman.

In addition to his wife of 71 years, Lucille Knolhoff of Hoffman, he is also survived by a daughter: Marsha Abernathy and husband Dennis of Hoffman; a daughter-in-law: Beth Knolhoff of Centralia; three grandchildren: Michael Abernathy wife Kathy of Hoffman, Teresa Haake and husband Denny of Hoffman, and Ciera Peck and husband Ryan of Centralia; four great-grandchildren: Macey Smith of Hoffman, Madeline Haake of Hoffman, Evan Abernathy of Hoffman and Jaxon Peck of Centralia; two sisters-in-law: Bernice Knolhoff and Lucille Knolhoff.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons: Kevin Knolhoff and Dale Knolhoff, four sisters: Quinat Brammeier, Leona Haake, Rosina Woker and Delores Cramer, and two brothers: Reinhard Knolhoff and Milton Knolhoff. Norman was a dairy and grain farmer all his life on his family’s farm.

He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoffman, where he was a member of the Men’s Club and held various offices in the church. Norman enjoyed the outdoors and working with horses. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal’s Fan.
