He was born on December 3, 1937 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Norman Harry and Sadie M. Kline Edleblute.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Ruth (Chaney) Edleblute on April 6, 1999.
Sonny was a 1956 graduate of Boonsboro High School Boonsboro, MD.
He was employed by BFI and previously Sanitary Disposal both of Frederick, MD for many years until his retirement.
He was a member of Sharpsburg Church of the Brethren in Sharpsburg, MD.
Sonny was a Board Trustee of the Mt.
He is survived by his daughter Sandy Clipp and her husband Keith of Sharpsburg, MD; daughter Diana Abrecht and her husband Charlie of Sharpsburg, MD; son Kenny Edleblute and his wife Betty of Hagerstown, MD; son Brian Edleblute and his wife Tracy of Martinsburg, WV; daughter in law Rebel Edleblute; his furry baby girl “Meya”; 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Mark Edleblute; 4 sisters; 1 brother.
