Norman H. Mintz of Smithville, NJ, formerly of Bergenfield, NJ was 69 when he passed away suddenly December 21, 2014. Born in New York City, he lived in the Parkchester section of the Bronx before moving to Bergenfield in 1977. In the summer of 2009 Norman and his loving wife Amelia settled at Four Seasons of Smithville. He taught Physical Education, Health Education, and Drivers Education for the New York City Board of Education for over 35 years before retiring.
Norman was survived by his beloved wife Amelia (nee Ordanes) Mintz, daughters Melissa Kundrath and husband Jason and Allison Forbes and husband Colin, a sister Marilyn Press, and his grandson Max.
