Mr. Norman Gayle Hamilton, 78, of Rising Sun, IN. , passed away at 7:37 AM, Wednesday, July 9th, 2008 at Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, IN. He was the husband of Patricia (Kaiser) Hamilton. Gayle & Pat were married October 23, 1953. Gayle was born in Rising Sun, IN on December 10, 1929, the son of the late John E. and May (Turner) Hamilton. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Veterans of the Korean War . He was self employed as owner of Gayle Hamilton, Inc.
Gayle was a graduate of Rising Sun High School, Class of 1949.
Gayle is survived by two daughters, Diana wife of Dave Geller of Land of Lakes, FL. and Regina Vaughn of Florence, KY. four sons: Norman Gayle Hamilton, Jr. (Kim) of Aurora, IN., Randy Hamilton (Tammy) of Rising Sun, IN., Roger Hamilton of Indianapolis, IN., James Hamilton (Natasha) of Wilmington, OH.
Gayle is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Gayle was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Sam, John & Joe Hamilton, and by sisters, Vera Bayne & Margaret Owens.
