Anderson Norman E. Folsom, 87, Anderson, died May 9, 2009, at his residence, after a brief illness. He was born November 10th, 1921 in Anderson, and resided in Anderson all his life. He retired from the Delco Remy Division of General Motors in 1984 after 43 years of service as a tool and dye maker.
He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Norman was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Anderson and the UAW #662. His children wish to thank him for putting all of them through Olivet Nazarene University.
He is survived by his children; daughter, Janice Kay Paul Reinbold of Oklahoma City, OK; Son James E. Virginia Folsom of Kansas City, MO; Daughter, Patricia J. David Cunnington of Magnolia, TX; and son Kevin Linda Folsom of Enumclaw, WA; Three sisters, Donna Hodson of Pam Bay Fl., Vera Wood Orville “Bud”, and Berniece Modlin both of Anderson. Three brothers, Myron Folsom Frances, Alvin Folsom Alice, and Calvin Folsom Loretta all of Anderson. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his spouse, Ruth Folsom on February 27th, 2009. His parents, Marcus L. and Lyda G. Hon Folsom, A brother, Donald Folsom, and a granddaughter, Sheila Reinbold.
