BAHAMA- Mr. Norman Douglas Scoggins, Sr., 77, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at his home.
Mr. Scoggins was born February 22, 1941 to the late Cecil and Lela Scoggins in Durham, NC. Mr. Scoggins retired from IBM as a computer programmer. He was a member of RTP Community Church. Mr. Mr. Scoggins will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Mr. Scoggins is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lela Scoggins; son, Phillip Wayne Scoggins.
Mr. Scoggins is survived by his wife, Janice Scoggins; sons, John Thomas Scoggins of Franklinton, NC and Norman Douglas Scoggins, Jr. of Durham, NC; brother, Cecil “C.H.” Hayward Scoggins of California; sisters, Shirley Hall of Durham, NC, Patsy Deweese of Durham, NC, Linda Montgomery of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Joshua Tyler Scoggins, Norman Douglas Scoggins, III, Ashley Nicole Scoggins, Jillian Mercy Scoggins, Jullian Michael Scoggins, Michelle Lynn Fletcher, Paul Douglas Morgan; great-grandson, R.J. Powers.
